ABOUT McLEAN AND CO.

McLean and Co,  Chartered Accountants, is a sole practitioner accounting practice based in Clive, situated on State Highway 2 between Hastings and Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. 

McLean and Co has a  number of clients from a variety of occupations and employments throughout New Zealand and overseas.     We assist with  financial related matters, financial statement preparation and tax returns for:

Murray  McLean established the business in 1992.   It was previously called Financial Management Bureau. 

Murray qualified as an Accountant in 1978 and has since worked in the accountancy function in a variety of industries and in top management positions.   He is a member of:

(The Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand since 1978 with a C.A. [Chartered Accountant] designation and holds a Certificate of Public Practice with this Institute)

McLean and Co  is registered as a Tax Agent with the Inland Revenue Department and is therefore able to pass on  the benefits that are available to tax agent registered clients.

McLean and Co, despite its smallness in size, is a busy and active practice.  Its smallness means that clients deal with and obtain direct service with the sole practitioner. 

Continuing education in order to keep up with modern knowledge is a priority.   As well as holding an accountancy qualification Murray has also gained  two Diploma in Business Studies  qualfications  ( with Endorsement in Taxation Consultancy and with Endorsement in Personal Financial Planning ).
